Days of Reflection
A very special event took place on Memorial Day Weekend: Frederick’s Days of Reflection on the Human Cost of War: a Time to Mourn, a Time to Heal. On Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th at the Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ in downtown Frederick, and in Baker Park, at the Band shell on Sunday afternoon, “Frederick’s Days of Reflection” an intergenerational gathering respectfully remembered the fallen, invited dialogue, and created a space to mourn the cost our community has paid for the Iraq War.
